The Dunwoody
Arts and Crafts Guild epitomizes professionalism in promoting quality
design and presentation of handmade arts and crafts.
The Guild was founded in late 1972. There were many artists
in the area, but few formalized groups and only a few craft shows. The
Guild's first
official act was the Dunwoody Village Show on May 4, 1973.
Today the Guild has evolved into a select group of professional artists and
craftsmen that promote between eight to ten craft shows a year. As a
non-profit organization, this group has donated over $40,000 to worthy
causes over the years.
